Default What tires are being delivered on 2015 GT3s?

As new GT3s are being delivered (my 15' is in transit from Davisville) I was wondering what tires are being delivered?

The dealer can tell you from his computer on the shipping/invoicing page, along with vin, key#, etc.
My 15 says ->Tyre brand "Mich"<- on lower left of page.

The Dunlop is better in the wet...not a bad thing, imo. I think overall both tires are very close in performance.

Not intending to steal this thread's thunder, does anyone know what the wear rate is on either tire for our GT3s? Is it over 100? I'm thinking 120 or so? What number is displayed on the sidewall of the stock GT3 tire?

Tks in advance/Cheers,

B

180 Michelin

This according to Damon (tire rack) on another thread.

I've always been told that you can't compare wear ratings between manufacturers. More of a comparison within a given company's product lines.

Michelins are stickier. There's proof...
Everyone whose car came over on the Clover Ace got Michelins! They knew it was going to be a rougher crossing than the rest.
The rest got Dunlops!

True, but having used both tires (on another car) I can confirm the Dunlops do wear over 2x as fast. At least in non N-spec.
