Default Warning Sticker on Visor

Okay- Need some help. I want to remove this distraction. Does any one have any info to make this an easy task?. I took care of the stickers behind the seats at the Dealership when I picked her up.

Now - The other day I used my other car as a test pilot. It appears all the newer model cars have the same exact sticker. So I peeled the corner and then took a tweezers to help get a better grip and was able to remove it all in one slow swoop. But - it leaves a clear "non sticky" film behind which is just as annoying as the sticker itself. Does any one know what I need to get rid of this. Is there some thing I can buy at Home Depot or Walgreens. Also, this car has a fabric visor which will probably be tougher to remove than the GT3 which I think is vinyl.

Does using a hair dryer make it easier to remove from the beginning?

I hate those things but, they're a pita to remove, for a reason.

Jimmy - Mike did it with some solvent I believe. I'd probably go for the replacements from Suncoast when they are available. I believe those come without stickers.

91% isopropyl alcohol from Walgreens/CVS on a rag. Let it soak in then scrub away.

Thanks all. Hfm's link explained it all. Will use the suggested solvent and finish test on test car. If successful; which it appears it should be, then will perform operation on the GT3

WD40 may help to soften the sticker w/o melting the vinyl plastic.

Isopropyl alcohol works great and evaporates leaving no residue, unlike something like WD40. After applying the alcohol soaked rag to the sticker to loosen it , use a q-tip soaked in alcohol to keep "painting" the contact point between the sticker and the visor as you peel it back. Work slowly and the sticker should come off in one piece.

I only suggested wd to wet the sticker, quicker. You can remove wd resiudue with the 91% ISO. I will try alcohol first. Still have to wait for the car though...

Oh it works, Rob. I've used isopropyl alcohol and have removed the stickers from several Porsches over the years including my GT3.

You're welcome, Rob. And LexVan is right; I've used denatured alcohol on the stickers too, and it works fine.
