Just an update on RS numbers for North America. I have record of 1219 cars total with around 120 missing. The colour break down is:

White = 22%
Lava = 30%
UV = 18%
Silver = 16%
PTS/other = 14%

My October count is 36 but there are certainly a few missing.

Yes. It's hard to say exactly because the first black cars were just shown as PTS before they started the fast track PTS. I have 2 racing yellow, 3 Miami, 16 PTS metallic, 141 PTS solid, 6 black. Some of those 141 cars are black.

That's still a lot of real PTS's compared to the 997's.
Given that it was very difficult to order PTS in a small window I'm surprised there are as many as 141+

Seeing an RS in the wild is still spotting a unicorn with only 1200 copies minted for North America.

And the vast majority of them bubble wrapped and not tracked, or sitting in dealer lots waiting for the above MSRP buyer..

You are BANG ON, Alex. I realize I'm in Canada, but not too far from "The Big Smoke" (Toronto) but I've yet to see one in the wild. and only a few GT3's. Forgive me, I don't live in California.

I think I mentioned that we'd have about 1200-1500 RSs in the US...guess I was in the ballpark.

Regardless of whether that is true or not, even if they were all being driven, 1200 copies for North America would clearly make them a rare sight in the wild.

I'd say almost certainly 1500+. They are still building these, the last will probably hit the figures in Jan or Feb 2017?
