Default GT3 PDK paddles

I have a PDK TT and GT3, I noticed that the paddles on the TT is much softer to press. More like a Ferrari paddle effect/feel. I like it.

The GT3 paddles are harder to press.

Is there a way to soften the paddle resistance on the GT3?

Weight training, or just leave it in auto.

I thought they actually increased the pedal resistance for the RS compared with the GT3 for more " involvement ".
I guess the Turbo needs even less " involvement " than the GT3...

The PDK on the GT3 is significantly quick in up and down shifting but the resistance to press it is like my Benz.

While the TT, M5 and land rover is similar with the Ferrari. Almost no effort.

For those who have driven a F1 transmission Ferrari like F430 or 360, its a slightly different feel.

I prefer the increased sensation/ resistance. I want to go up and down one gear at a time on purpose and have it be a positive feel.

Just buy a new steering sport design steering wheel and swap it in, that will make it feel like a turbo. I have a Cayman S with the sport design wheel as a daily, but actually prefer the GT3 paddles. Feels more like you're pulling a trigger on a gun, provides good feedback. And you know you pulled a shift.

The amount of pressure required feels just about right as far as I'm concerned. Nice to know with each pull.

Does the RS have the same tension and just a shorter pull?

I have no idea why I asked this.

I prefer the Ferrari paddles as well. Best feel is the 430 scuderia, followed closely by 458.

The GT3 paddles need something, but I haven't found a solution.

The only good thing about the GT3/RS paddles is the metallic feel. Makes this "clinky" sound if one taps them with one's nails.

But to talk about paddle feel? Like others commented before, that must be a joke.

p.s. Try the OEM paddle system in a 997 GT3R or 991 Cup. That is how a tactile system should feel like and that goes far beyond the nuances of just the paddle switches...

The thing that bothers me is not the paddles themselves or the weight of the pull, but is lacks a crisp detent. Ferrari, BMW M and others have more of a crisp "click" at the end. The GT3 paddles lack that, more mushy for lack of. Better word

After writing all of that I think I need to turn in my MANual card. God I need some gears to row again...
