Default 125cc Shifter Kart

When I'm not racing, I go karting to stay fit.. Here is a small teaser for everyone. I am the first kart in the video. The shifter karts have 6 gears, 43hp and do 0-60 in under 3 seconds... If somebody hasn't tried it, i really recommend it, its extremely physical and alot of fun.

Shifter carts are awesome and yes very physical! My arms were jello after after 2 hours of night driving at Bondurant a few years ago. And the next day my hips were super sore probably from the G's these things hit and me being slammed into the hard seat.

P.S. Friends don't let friends shoot vertical videos

I have a 125cc TAG. I have more fun driving that on track than cars. I drove my friend's 80cc shifter once, it was freaking amazing to say the least.

Did you guys build your own shifter karts or buy them? Can you recommend some things to look for when buying one?

did the advanced course at sonoma on one-speed carts, I think they were 125cc? after a whole day I could barely stand... last session I was worthless. consolation was that I beat everyone there the rest of the day, including some people who owned their own karts and raced regularly and were using the school as "practice"... maybe riding motorcycles on track helped with the "touch"?.... regardless... last session i was so beat I came in second to last... totally drained. amazing fun.

I own my own CRG kart, model Road rebel. Its got an Iame X30 Shifter engine and it needs a rebuild every 10 hours. It drives almost like a single seater especially since its got full front and rear brakes with adjustable bias. I really recommend it to people who are heavily into track days. I have another video of it I will put up soon. I'll also try putting some more videos of my F.renault and F3 days. Here's one video while I add some more

I have one (CRG RR, 125CC stock Honda) and that stuff makes me wanna vomit in my helmet it's so violent. Stopped it, and moved on to tracking my GT3. Maybe I'll pick it back up someday, who knows.

It's called a Honda CR 125cc "Stock Honda" and it belonged to a dirt bike. The engine which you have in your kart must be an ICC.
