Jeff, what do you know about this car? It does look like a nice car, even with high mileage (186,000) and unknown service history, except what's listed.

I have since posted a complete webpage on its condition and history:

... may I just say it is killing me to sell this car.

Drifting
John, maybe it is me just wanting our cars to be worth more, but this seems too low a price. I don't know your situation, maybe you just want out of the car.
Yes, it probably needs a whole new front end engine reseal, which is a few k from a good indie, and a lot less if you do it yourself, that would include a belt changed, etc since you are in there.
From your ad on heat and the post of a control part, I would guess the controller may be on its way out, that is an easy swap. Not sure of history of blowers dying on these models.
I saw a recent thread on glass around here, so not sure about that, but my understanding is you can still get some sort of glass.
Anyways the engine and transmission together are probably worth around 5k. I would not be surprised if this car gets purchased and parted Is that what you want (guilt trip)
This would make a great DE car too for a handy mechanic.
All your parts you are giving with it are worth a few K to I hazard.
Too bad on the parts, I am interested in a few!
Good luck with sale!

Looks like a nice car. What 220 did you get in 1993? Was it still a clutch type?
I'd suggest adding some more detail to the CL ad, particularly about the heater repair and bodywork (which I did not see in the pics). Without more detail, heater issues in a used car ad suggest to me a leaking heater core or blown head gasket. Otherwise why is it not fixed?
I had a 180K plus mile 944S2 that was fine, and my black 968 is over 160K, mileage is no big deal for these cars.
