The DME (Engine Computer) will not attempt to fire the injectors/ignition until it sees the engine is spining above 200 RPM. This is plenty of time to build up good oil pressure before startup. The "Pump-Prime" feature makes sure the fuel pressure is where it should be when the DME decides to fire the injectors.

International Shipping
I currently do not ship outside the USA. There are several reason for this, but I am working on making them available internationally. This is going to take some time, I apologize for the inconvenience I know this is causing for a lot if you guys.
I am located in Canada and would like to have one shipped here but delivery to Canada doesn't seem to be a option on the website. I sent a couple emails to the addys on your contact page but have not received any reply. Please let me know if/how a non PP version would be available to me.
Thanks,
Dan
Thanks,

Shipping
The majority of packages I ship go out next busness day. Occasionally, I can get them out same day if the order comes in early morning or on Saturday. However, 1 to 3 busness days for handling time is the the official policy. I ship USPS flat rate which adds a transit time 1 to 3 days depending on the destination.
If you have a special circumstance, send an email request to sales@ftech9.com and I will do everything I can to help you out.

This community never ceases to amaze me. Part NLA? No problem. If it's rubber or plastic, the 3D printing guys will print it. If it's electronic, someone will build it. If it mechanical, like TT bearings, someone will improve it.
I ordered the relay, not because I need it, mine was fine, but as a show of support for the guy who took the time to make it. I ordered 3D printed parts for the same reason. When the time comes, I'll do the upgraded TT bearings, not because I need them, but because I want to support the making of them.
When someone takes the time to make something needed, or improve on 30 year old tech, I jump on it. Plus the community has something Porsche didn't. 30 years of road experience. You can't beat real world experence to tell you what works, what doesn't, and how it can be improved.
I can't say how excited I am for the community that brand new DMEs are going to be a thing. I just hope we can keep you in business for the long haul. My fear is, demand over the long term won't support all these new innovations. I hope I'm wrong, and in 30 years there are still guys willing to go out of their way to support these cars!
I'm sure the next big thing will be turbo TPSs. There is a void, someone will jump in to fill it I'm sure. And improve it along the way, based on why they fail

Sale on SSR Relays
Hi Guys!
The SSR Relays are on sale for the first time ever! I now also have Solid-State Relays for the 911 Carrera 3.2L (1984-1989). These relays have been a huge success, and I have put every dime right back into development. I hope to have some awesome new toys for the 944 and 911 going into next year.
Maybe even sooner...

for race cars with dedicated fuel pump switches?

Very cool. I am thinking I should buy one of these to have on hand, should I run in to trouble.
