Exclamation Spoiler light not on, but the spoiler doesn't work... help please!!

ive searched this problem and couldnt find a thread with a problem like mine..

My new 964 has a weird problem...

When i turn the key to accessory (last one before actually starting the car)

all the warning lights come on except the exclamation point.

i just fixed the interlock and brake light problem by filling it with brake fluid today, and on my test drive i noticed the spoiler didn't come up... well thats weird.

spoiler light wasnt on

i checked it manually with the switch.. Nothing.

No movement at all.

I used to notice that the spoiler light would stay on till 4mph.. but nope

the light goes away the second i turn the car on.. in fact no light stays on, the second i turn the car on, every light is out.

maybe unrelated problems:

oil cooler leak.

i unplugged the battery a few days ago and plugged it back in.

what should i do? i do not want to pay $500 for a new motor thats a piece of plastic. if anyone has a problem or had a problem like this please help.

if anyone has any tests or links to diy on how to test the multiple parts of the spoiler to diagnose this, thank you!

Fuse is fine!

For some reason... i can't find the spoiler control module. It's supposed to be under the passenger seat, i literally have a huge hole where its supposed to be on my model year (1989) can anyone supply a picture of the under passenger seat with an arrow to the spoiler control??

Thanks a lot!

.....maybe i didnt do enough searching!!

Ive used a tester at the fuse and it lights up, and when i try at the relay under the passenger, i can't get anything, i put it in every slot while the car was running and got nothing? Could the problem be between the fuse box and the relay?
