Hi there, l stumbled across this forum when doing some casual Christmas browsing & was amazed to see the restoration of this car, which l know quite well, since a friend of mine actually drove in the 1990 Spa 24 race along with it's owner, Herr Dorr.
As you may know, this car was badly damaged in a 3 car accident which sadly cost the life of a young Belgian driver & deeply affected my friend, as he was driving the car at the time.
Through my friend, l may be able to get some pictures & information about the car, if you are interested.
Due to the damage the original car was out of action for some time & the white car was used by Olaf Manthey to continue in the German Cup series. This car was repainted green, but only the outside, hence the interior of this replacement car was white.
Hope this info clarifies a few of the questions asked earlier on in this great story.

As a follow up I have obtained the Waggenpass for the original Manthey Signal Green Cup car from 1990. It confirms this is not Manthey’s Cup car. The Cup raced by Manthey was LS409002.
