I'll wager the driver has been on the course more than once :-) and certainly capable of driving the car to its limit, or else very very lucky.

Yes, he certainly pushes it. From what I remember this is on quite small wheels with R888's too.

Nice, but it wasn't a one complete lap but a compilation of two or more of them...

I am sure it is a complete BTG lap and not a compilation but anyway. I just wanted to share a very entertaining video of someone who knows "the ring" and doing so in a 951 which we are not exactly spoiled with.

Please if anyone else have nice vids please post so we can cheer up the gloomy winter weather approaching....

944 turbo S (chip tuned to about 270-280 PS). 16" rims. Toyo 888 with 225/50 in front and 245/45 in rear. tire pressure cold 2,2 bar. KW Variante 3 Suspension. camera change at Mutkurve and Pfanzgarten due to traffic. Mixture between the 8th and 11th round at Nordschleife in real car. I have learned the track at Playstation GT5.

Cool video and track. If it were a different car he might have brought the back end around with double-pumping the steering wheel going into turns.

8:01.36. This car also seems to be fairly stock. He has done sub eights also. That's impressive for a car designed in the early 80. I would love to see what a properly set up 951 could do in the right hands!
