Bringing back painful memories!!

This must have been the most difficult part of the conversion. I built a new steering shaft with Borgeson joints held together with 3/4" D rod, I then built a bracket bolted to the cars frame that holds the heim joint .

I am using stock cast manifolds, the drivers side had to be milled at 10 degrees to provide enough clearance for middle steering shaft joint. I am not using precats, Camaro's only use main cats and that's why the Camaro is the easiest LS1 powered car to emulate.

Like I said... there are a lot of Ford master cylinders that fit the Hydroboost.

The piston size will make a big difference.

What /year/make/model is it off of?

The Hydroboost unit came from a 96 mustang GT, I think the master cylinder has a 1" bore.

That's a good price! What does the clear hose on the side do?

It shows how much oil is in the can.

Great Stuff. In San Diego as well. Interested in hearing about the referee experience, etc. Remind me not to tangle with the Red 944 with the 5.7L emblem on the side.

Its a griffin 380645 from Summit at $179.99, its dimensions are pretty close the stock 944's but is about 2" higher. Significant modifications is required to the upper radiator support and the filler has to be cut off and welded up.

I basically removed all the upper sheet metal except the nose panel support and made a brace using existing fixing screws, my intake is just able to squeeze through the space between the rad and the nose panel sheet metal.

Radiator Style: Crossflow
Overall Width (in): 23.875 in.
Overall Height (in): 16.000 in.
Overall Thickness (in): 1.750 in.
Row Quantity: 1
Radiator Material: Aluminum
Radiator Finish: Natural
Transmission Cooler: No
Inlet Location: Upper driver side
Inlet Size: 1 3/4 in.
Outlet Location: Lower passenger side
Outlet Size: 1 3/4 in.
Core Height (in): 16.000 in.
Core Width (in): 20.750 in.
Tube Size: 1 in.

Not yet, I still have a few items to complete.

I need to get a Camaro K&N FIPK CARB sticker and have the car tuned, so far the car is running DTC code free but is running on a stock tune.
