I'm less of a Ford guy, and more of a Coyote guy, given my history with it.

What I *REALLY* want to do is drop one of them in a Boxster. Since the Mod was designed to go in FWD cars, it is a whole lot more compact than it'll ever get credit for, it is just that it is "short," rather than "narrow." Using a tape measure, it is less than 2" longer overall than a Cayman engine we've got laying around here. The big question I have is how much higher it would sit in the engine bay, or if there would be a (reasonable) way around any issues to get the crank lined up with the input shaft. Or even if there are any issues.

Well, I don't list all my cars, but here it is:
66 Bronco - unrestored and needing it
67 GTO - in expoxy primer
89 944 Turbo S - pretty well gutted awaiting paint and 3.0L 16V turbo engine
88 SP3 - Always something

And then the drivers
92 968 - for sale (but I gotta list it)
2007 R320 CDI
2007 Ram 2500 w/ Cummins
2010 535i

So I kind of have my plate full. And my kids are younger than yours (two of whom are now doing year-round competitive swimming, and one who is GOOD at it).

Is this still in progress? I have my 64.5 coupe on the rotisserie right now in epoxy. I'm doing a 351 unless I get talked into something else.
