That's great, Stan. I see you listed your car as "Elfenbein pearlglanz" on the registration form.
There's a major wooden boat company on the next lake, Garwood. When I had my intake powder coated, the guy was blasting a Merlin engine for them. Or at least it looked like that sort of engine. I wonder if their shop would make a nice Sunday tour. They have interesting cars, too, including the only American car I'd like to own, a '66 Charger.

Just called and booked a cabin at Pine Tree Motel. Looks like we will be getting quite a crew assembled at Curt's "Camp". Tony, if you are heading out on Friday, I was thinking about stopping in at Hemmings in Bennington, VT on the way there and Saratoga Museum on the way back Sunday.Sounds like a great road trip!

I would be up for Garwood, being that I own a 1962 ChrisCraft Cavalier Ski Boat, mahogany plywood, Ford 272ci/170hp Interceptor V8 inboard.

Nice boat. Allow me to draw a contrast with current conditions:
My plow guy uses a front loader, usually overkill, but not for 24 inches. Should be gone by June.

We may be filling up the Pine Tree. If I recall, they have just 26 beds in all. The cabins have just one, and the motel-type rooms have two each. There are other places nearby that I might have to check out.
I think we'd all forgive you if you came up in the Suburban w/QUADRASTEER, but this will certainly give your family a memorable experience, and give us all a great campfire story.
