Hello 1978 in Continental Orange
Hello,
Just wanted to introduce myself.
After a little while of looking, I finally found the 928 I was looking for
Special thanks to Jim Doerr for some words of wisdom before the purchase
1978 in what seems to be Continental Orange.
Needs love after some neglect (luckily not abuse). She seems to be super original. Perhaps even original paint. Not much paperwork, but I think she has been passed around a bit which I guess makes her a true survivor in this condition.
I found her on a farm so I had to drive her two hours to the nearest major city to be collected by an auto carrier.
Motor seems sweet eager although needs to be tuned. Shifts smooth. Clutch good.
She has some nice patina inside and out. Going to give her as much of the 'preservation' treatment as possible.
Excuse the crappy pics. Will take some more when I get her in my possession in a week or so. Will get a COA ASAP too.
I'm more of an air cooled guy, but I'm here to get wet and learn!
Cheers

Very nice!
What type of interior does it have? Edit...question answered.
Make sure you register it with 928oc.org, it's nice to keep current on new finds.
Congratulations, on your new project.
Brian.
