Calling all design experts/ aesthetics aficonados.. :)
So I spot this 930 on BaT today....
Personally, I just love the look of this auto.
So here's the question.. I realize from reading about the history of the 928 that the idea was certainly a "clean sheet of paper" approach... but if you were to compare the body design of this 930 and the 928, what similarities/cues/family resemblance clues do you see?

Only one, the headlights when they are up.
Besides that, the 911 spent the next 30 years morphing into a modern 928.

With the headlights up the front of the 928 becomes a bit 911`ish from the right angles, and I`m sure it was no coincidence.

I was a classmate in design school of the guy who was responsible for the design of the 911/964. He was also responsible for the design (facelift) of the 928 S4. You can see the similarities between the front fascia (bumper) designs of the two cars.
