Default Calling all design experts/ aesthetics aficonados.. :)

So I spot this 930 on BaT today....

Personally, I just love the look of this auto.

So here's the question.. I realize from reading about the history of the 928 that the idea was certainly a "clean sheet of paper" approach... but if you were to compare the body design of this 930 and the 928, what similarities/cues/family resemblance clues do you see?

I'll be interested to read your input.
Thanks!
Dan

Only one, the headlights when they are up.

Besides that, the 911 spent the next 30 years morphing into a modern 928.

Aside from the postage stamp sized sunroof, none.

I agree with every part of this statement!

With the headlights up the front of the 928 becomes a bit 911`ish from the right angles, and I`m sure it was no coincidence.

https://www.stuttcars.com/porsche-models/911/964/

I was a classmate in design school of the guy who was responsible for the design of the 911/964. He was also responsible for the design (facelift) of the 928 S4. You can see the similarities between the front fascia (bumper) designs of the two cars.
