What is the VIN on this car, has it been registered to anybody recently?

last registered owners were notified at the time of the lien sale ..... the car has not been registered for years, title never in "Mavericks" name....none of them. Which also explains why it did not get liquidated with the other cars...it was out of sight !!

Unless Mav has a signed title from the previous owner, I'd say the shop has every right to sell it. Even if he does have the title, it's still not under his name and therefore not officially his!

But I'm just a business major, so I may be wrong. Court cases can likely go either way since it's a grey area.

So is season ending cliffhanger something like this: Whoever handled sale of his other cars will come to get this one also to be auctioned away. If other cars were sold to cover some debt and it wasn't possibly fully recovered shouldn't his possible additional asset end up same direction to fill up the hole?

Folks, I'm closing this thread. It looks to me that the seller has a legit title and if not it is a matter for the courts to decide not us.

Bisimotosales should post the car for sale under their sponsor account this time please and if Maverick posts there, his posts will be deleted.
