Yeah, and parts of the country I haven't been through. Unfortunately, that's realistically at least three days of travel. The vacation isn't an issue, but I have two weeks of military duty starting the following weekend. That's a bit tight, especially if something with the car goes pear-shaped along the way...

I was sent the attached which enlightens the great relationship we have as countries and in a great many aspects we have as like minded folks. should give warm and fuzzies for those who never crosssed the North border

Yes Malcom, that review by Tom B. definitely states a great relationship between our countries and most of all, our people.
I've been fortunate enough to travel to dozens of countries outside the US borders, and have never received more heartfelt 'welcomes' than I have across our northern border.
One that stands out especially is the great warm welcome we felt when we attended the Calgary Stampede 4 years ago. What a 'red carpet' the city and people of Calgary laid out. Even as a non-Canadian, I felt tears well up in my eyes as the helicopter carried the gigantic Canadian flag over the arena as the band played "Oh Canada" before the start of the afternoon events. Just Beautiful.

^^ yes and yes.......I'd suggest rebooking using the event name; 'Sharks On Ice' see post #26
.........and the negotiated rates are good either side of the weekend for folks wanting to relax a little longer
