Default Blown 87 aka Greg Nettles

It's with much sadness I must report Greg's passing last night. As of now no plans for a service but a celebration of Greg's life at my hangar in Peachtree City, GA probably after the new year. All of Greg's friends will be welcome,I'll post on rennlist once we have a date. Like him or not Greg certainly would tell you his opinion, and I will miss him very much. Paul Hunt

OMG...not the way to get outta the plane to read that.

My next leg today...I'll tell him what a nice day it is down here. That's someone I really wanted to meet someday.

Default Greg Nettles passing

This is terrible news......

I just got a PM reply from Greg on Dec 18th....

Saw him at SITM 2012 in June...

Never forget sitting in the Best Western bar at SITM 2009
with a group and his Uncle Mitch and laughing so hard
I nearly peed myself......

Then there is the 'Wild Turkey Incident'
when a wild turkey nearly went thru his windshield
while driving back to ATL from SITM on the
Blue Ridge Parkway.......

For myself and the Frenzy crew , we are deeply saddened...

Please let us know if there is anything we can do.....

Greg was a very big help to me along with Greg Brown when I rebuilt my engine. I considered him a friend and had him on my list to visit in the fall. You'll be missed very much Greg.

I had the pleasure of hanging out with him at the past two SITM. He was a really nice guy.

RIP Greg.
