I just replaced another original set of 50mm injector hoses on barbs.
They are rubber, and do not appear to be lined with hard plastic.
Other supply hoses may be different.
That is the way the came from the factory.
Doesn't mean its best practice.
Guys, you have choices.
The ones NOT to make are
a) leave the originals because "they look ok", and
b) using regular "run-of-the-mill" fuel injector hose without cross referencing the markings.
Those are the choices NOT to make.
Rest is up to each to decide.

Drove the replacement home a week ago. Lovely trip. I had a lengthy description of the work it needs, the good, the bad but Rennlist logged me out while I went to Photo-suck-it to upload a photo of it.
So, here's the photo.

Nice car, congrats and better luck this time.
I can't even finish reading a page before rennlist logs me out. So tired of that. Anyway, if you would have logged in again your writings would have still be there. I have had this happen numerous times.
Also thanks for bringing this topic back on top, I am very close on buying my first 928 (appointment on Wednesday) and this has been an eye opening thread. If I get a 928 I'll be ordering the kit from Greg ASAP.

fuel line pics
Here are some pics of the fuel lines from the last car I worked on. I was swaping the motor the fuel lines littereally crumbled in my hands

Your "solution" is certainly better than broken fuel lines, short term. Hell, used garden hose would be better than the broken hoses.
I'd submit that you have not "solved" the problem "long term".
Note that your fuel lines had two different kinds of barbs and were two different kinds of material, originally. The one with the crimped ends was rubber hose and the one without the crimped ends was plastic line. While you certainly can securely put the proper hose onto the one that had the crimped style ends, I'm not convinced that the one with the barbs for the plastic hose is going to be happy.
Another obvious issue is the clamps that you used. They appear to be virtually bottomed out and the hose doesn't show much "deflection" from them being tightened. Rubber fuel line shrinks fairly quickly. Once that hose shrinks a bit, I'd think you would have the potential for leaks.
Not sure how nice this car is or what its value is. If it's a $300 car, put $3.00 worth of fuel lines and clamps on it and buy a $30 fire estinguisher. Keep the wife (or significant other) and kids (or dogs) out of it.
If it's nice, do yourself a favor and get some "real" fuel lines that you never have to think about, again.
Like I keep telling people, if Porsche thought that rubber fuel hose and clamps was a viable solution, why do you suppose they didn't do it this way?

We stock and sell a number of different levels of new fuel hoses -----
Greg Browns "Lifetime" fuel hoses for a CIS 78 to the mighty GTS - by far the best option - you get what you pay for.
For the later cars some of the Porsche hoses are sill available - manufacturing dates are recent.
Cohline hose (sold by the meter) and Ferrules - exactly the same hose that came on the cars from the factory - perfect for the barbed fittings.
Economy Fuel Hose Kit - uses Gates Barricade EFI hose and EFI clamps - needs annual checks for condition and tightness of clamps

I suggest to use a dab of anti seize on the threads of the couplers and the rear of the line where the B nut presses this will make it easier to remove the next time .
NOTE dont overtighten the B nut as it will distort the fitting then its hard to unscrew,
always counter hold the fitting to prevent damage to other parts
