Default First Oil Change On My '82 928s

Hey Guys,

I am assuming the Bosch Oil filters on ebay are the way to go? What oil would you recommend? Thanks in advance!!

Don't forget - do not over tighten oil drain plug bolt.
40 Nm torque.

The crush ring is for the drain plug, if you wondered.

Go with a 15w50 or 20w50 synthetic oil. Choose it by your desire to pay.

Filter cost varies a lot. Most do with a Mann or Mahle brand.

It's tough to find a better deal than this.

Tell us more about yourself and your car. Post some pics (of the car).

Good choices.
Walmart often has the 15w50 at fair price.

I noticed the other day that the Royal Purple label now says "Zinc / Phosphorous Fortified". (Ignore the weight of the oil in the picture--too lazy to google search for a 20w50 picture.)

NoVector...

That avatar reminds me of a joke.

As a boy, we'd discuss which girl on "Gilligan's Island" we liked better: Ginger or Mary Ann. The most confident boys went with the movie star, Ginger. The majority liked the sweet Mary Ann. I was a Mrs. Howell.
