Rolled the red car off the trailer today. Removed the A/C condensor, radiator, rear bumper cover, etc. T

Built some parts benches, and then removed front fenders, hatch, rear bumper, carpeting, etc. Almost ready to unbolt the unibodies of both cars.

Stripper fun. Main body is in great shape, no bondo or damage. Appears this 80 was painted at least 3-4 times. Red, brown, white, and the original color was light blue. Dr side front fender was filled with bondo, and so was the rear bumper cover. Will be using the rear bumper cover, hatch, and doors off the 79. Need to find a dr side fender with no previous damage. 77Tony

Tony – Looking good. You could go for the deloreon look and not paint it—like the 83 at the Porsche museum.

What ever color you chose it is going to be beautiful.

79's are so much fun to drive. I have found a new appreciation for my OB. I am not saying it is better than the 85 just different in a cool way. It feels lighter, more nimble I quess.

You all have some mad skills and I hope to see this car one day in person!

I would have so much fun taking that low mile car apart, hell, I'd have a blast doing what you guys are doing. Keep the updates coming.

Go with the one on the left cause I like the darker one on the right.
