the 09R cam is 1985.5-1988 944 NA models
the 1989 used a -10R cam which is "different in some way that no one knows"

Sam you might check with Ideola, I sent him one of these last year.

One for the racecar (had a wallowed out cam key, was knocking back and forth) and I figured Id keep one as a spare or throw it in my next turbo motor.

The 9Rs are the ones turbo guys want. I have one but the area around the key is all chipped up. Does anybody know a welder that can fix the key area for a price less than a new web cam would cost?
