FS: 951 stuff: engine, Fuchs, Script Sport seats, Turbo Twists, R888, etc.
Cross-post from the 944 Turbo forum.
Just opened a bunch of FS ads in the Marketplace. Thought y'all would be interested.
I'm in the Washington, DC area and would like to get rid of the heavier items quickly -- plus, I'd be much more inclined to give a discount to a local buyer.
Links to marketplace are below.
Running 951 engine: $1500 OBO; motivated seller. SOLD
Genuine Fuchs wheels in excellent condition; polished w/ black inlays: $1600 OBO.
Turbo Twists (18x8 and 18x9). Slightly different greys between front and rears. $800 OBO
Script Sport Seats in Champagne/Champignon (can't remember) color: $1500. Excellent shape. SOLD
1986 951 DME/KLR (two pairs): $375/pr. One is stock whereas the other pair has Vitesse Stage 3 chipset.
Used R888 tires. $400 SOLD
951 Brake Calipers, master cylinder, and assorted used pads: $400 for full set of calipers; $75 for the master cylinder (which is basically new). Make me an offer on the pads (see ad).
Tial Dual Port Wastegate, 38mm. $150 OBO. SOLD
Used reman Bosch starter: $50. SOLD
986 Brey Krause Roll Bar Extension with FIA-spec padding: $350. SOLD

Thanks Dimi!
Kashmir is the white-ish colored one? It is not the tan you find in the 968 but it is not as light as the whitish/light grey. I would call it Champagne but someone once told me the color was Champignon, which of course made me unsure all over again!

Hi porscharu,
I've got a guy in line before you but let me know if you're interested. They're 225/40R18 and 26/35R18. Build stamps are mid-2011 for the fronts and early/mid-2010 for the rears. They've been kept in my climate controlled basement (or in the climate-controlled garage when on the car) for the duration of their life.
Probably two track weekends on them.

Thanks. The tan out of the 968 is exactly what I'm looking for.

Not a problem. Unfortunately that tan wasn't made for any 944s, so you'll need to find it in a 968.
That said, there was a similar tan in the 944; I have a leather rear seat back from one. This color wasn't used in a Script Sport Seat configuration -- only leather was an option IIRC.

Collin, what does the Vitesse S3 chipset entail? Simply a pair of chips for the DME and KLR?
Does this chipset require any other modifications for proper function/operation? FPR? MBC? Injectors? And lastly, what is the advertised end result of running this chipset?

Great question. So, this is where I'd like to be as open and transparent as possible: there is a good reason why I'm not listing the Vitesse stuff for sale as a package. I fried the piggyback and it's not worth my time to (a) troubleshoot or (b) fix. The system was 8 years old anyway and John Vitesse has gone into retirement.
I have already sold the turbo; it was in excellent shape.
The chipset in the DME/KLR should still be good but can be easily reverted back to stock as an alternative. The chips are a dime a dozen.
I also have the 3bar FPR, 70# injectors and MAF. These are all generic units and would work fine with any other system (assuming the impedance of the injectors is normalized). I'd be willing to sell these as a set but so far haven't bothered to list them.
Hope this helps; let me know if you have any other questions.
