Default Help needed in NOVA

Hi All,

I am starting to do some small work on my car and I was wanted to redo the break front and back. On the back I just need to change the pad as the one I have make way to much noise to my like but the rotor are new, but in the front I would need I guess both rotor and pad, I was wondering if there would be anyone around me (McLean VA) that would be wanted to help me/teach me do such a job?

The car is a 944 n/a from 88.

Thank you .

Louis

I'll bring beer and help in any way I can if I can watch/learn.

How many RLers does it take to change rotors and pads?

Seriously, I would appreciate the opportunity.

How many RL'ers does it take? That depends on how much beer we have on hand.

Anyway, it's a fairly simple job with the only catch being whether or not the rotor set screw is seized on. Fortunately, I have an impact driver which tends to make short work out of those little bastards.

Thank you Guys, I am ordering the part as per Brian suggestion, and once I receive everything I will set a time with Brian.

Also Brian let me know if I shall then buy some of those screw you mentioned?

I don't think you need to buy them and the impact driver has always taken them off without damaging them in the past. I'm not convinced that they are even necessary in the first place.
