Looks like Cooke Motors went out of business in the 90's, the source I found said they used to be on Centre St and 13 Ave NW, but it's now a strip mall. If that's the car and it's from Calgary, it's a long way from home.

Just got back from his house. I'm convinced it is authentic. He has a few racing documents with VIN number on it and they match the car.
It needs a motor and a new LSD. The fenders need a little body work. Whole thing needs a paint job to look really good.
What do you guys think it is worth?

Beside the racing history, what is special about those car?
Bolt-in rollbar and manual window
Sunroof delete?
Suspension setup?
Was the engine and tranny stock? If not, I would guess that they had a lot to do with there value.

- there's nothing on the car that can't be duplicated, other than the vin and its history.
It's a sunroof delete car with no undercoating, manual windows, A/C delete, LSD trans, minimal interior. So with no engine, it's a sub $500 parts car, + the value of the history. What the value of the history is, I can't say. I bought my 944 in 2003, it's a similar car, a 1985.5 run in the 1985 Firehawk series. Maybe a little more value because it was one of the cars used by Jon Milledge and Walt Maas for Carlsen Porsche to win the GS championship. I paid about $3000 - $4000 more for that pedigree. Given the shape the car is in, maybe that was too much. I guess that's up to you and the seller.

No matching engine doesn't help you much for big resale down the road IMO. I agree with Kurt R.Great conversation piece and a beauty to bring back to life, but I wouldn't pay too much for the car…but with that being said…I sure would love to own it,so if you can work out a fair deal,I say go for it!!!!!!The community here will help you rebuild her.Good Luck.
