Default There has to be a joke here somewhere

You start the day with only 1 944 (my racecar that I store at the shop), let in one more 944, and all of a sudden they breed like rabbits by noon. The silver rose is a beautiful 38k mile example, and the 968 is a beautiful 17k mile example.

And a 2.7L 89 joins the club.....

On a side note - I see a Eurocar-Werk license plate bracket on the blue NA - do you work there by any chance? I've been by a couple times (Eric over there saved my hide on a botched timing belt tensioner).

I'm just happy to see 944 owners maintaining their cars properly

i feel you..

last year i went to a customer's house to do some work on his two 944S cars, the blue one is a parts car for the grey one's benefit.

i came home and had these other two in my driveway awaiting other repairs.
these pictures were taken about an hour apart. my car is the shinier burgundy one.

Whats that saying? 944's are like kids, the average owner has 2.5...

Way to keep them going, guys.

I bought an NA early last year with a bad clutch and made it my DD. I bought a 951 late last year with half of the engine in boxes in the trunk, and got it past smog last month. It started as a hobby, but now it's like 944 foster care.

I thought it was just me... I have had my 951 for just over a year (wanted one since high school) and have been eying a triple white convertible that I pass everyday going to work that I swear has not moved in at least 3 years.

id like to have a 944 ranch someday where i can have a car with each of the crazy mods ive imagined over the years (offroader, midengined beast, and a few with different engine swaps to see which is best)

Triple white? White top, interior and paint? I've never seen a white top and have only seen linen interior so this must be a rare car. Got any pics of the car in question? I would love to see this combo.

+1, except I'd have a mix of 924s, 944s and 968s.

The disease continues. It's funny I won't see a 944 in the shop for 6 months at a time, but then one shows up and they all show up.

Red turbo on the left is a 19k mile 86 that had not seen rain in 25 years until it came in on the tow truck today. Red turbo in the air is also an 86 for a fuel leak at the pump. 85 below that is our chump car. The only Porsche to have ever won a chump car race to this point.

People are aware that these cars are meant to be driven, right?

There are always a few mistaken souls.
