Porsche script on side of car?

Years ago, I had a picture (and can't find it) where someone with a white 944 gave it red Carrera side scripts and red-centered Fuchs in a nod to the '73 Carrera RS. While I'd have a hard time doing that myself because it just seems wrong, I still thought it looked really good with the way it was executed.
Anyway, I have a bit of a soft spot for side strips but, in order to do it right, there needs to be other bits of whatever color you choose to keep it looking "balanced." There are probably enough bits of black on the 944 to make black work (at least in my head).

I like it on 914s and old 911/912, but my preference is not for the front engine cars. I believe variants of these aforementioned cars came from the factory like that, whereas i don't recall 924, 944/51, or 928s having done so. I do like what the other posters have done and it is all personal discretion, and I respect anyone reimagining new variants.
Edit: add the 356 to the list I wouldn't put script on personally. Again, could just be my lack of adventure when it comes to external style.
