********* UPDATE **********

Called 1-800-PORSCHE today and talked to Penny. She indicated Jane Doe, who handles the PCNA COAs, was not in the office but would be in the office in 15-20 minutes and she would place a note on her desk and make sure she calls me this afternoon.

I did not receive a phone call today.

******* END OF UPDATE *******

HERE HERE! incompetence is running rampant in the US and is taking this country down...i too do not suffer fools well and feel your pain. its not the fact that you could whip one of these up at home or have the dealer do one but having "THE ONE" produced by PORSCHE for the car..it seals the deal! Good luck!

Just be lucky your COA didn't come back and specify your car as a redone Honda!!! That would have REALLY SUCKED!!!!!

Option X502- CRX rebody kit/electronics
Option W944 - 944 body panels
Option M202- Performance Drum Brakes
Option V$4$ - Expensive Porsche Badge
Opton S1U3C4K - .8ltr 4 cyclinder 20hp engine

********* UPDATE **********

Received a call today (five days after last call) from Jane Doe about my COA. She started the conversation by telling me my COA was on the way and such. She thought I was stil waiting on my second COA and I guess nobody told her the second one was hosed too from several prior conversations and phone calls I made. In any case I think they are gonna finally get the interior color combo right. They are still trying to tell me my 930 was basically discounted $15,000 however on the MSRP. Im NOT buying it. Were it base 911 or 928 (which were hard to move), Id probably believe them but not in my case. She said dealer had discretion to discount a car that wouldnt move. Well I dont see any dealers today discounting brand new 997TTs by almost 21%.

Sounds like a very rare, pre-production (and, in fact, pre-design) Tiptronic car. You could sell that thing for hundreds of thousands of dollars, and when people try to call you on it, you just whip out that COA !

I've seen "market adjustments" up on Porsches of that era, but not down. My father shows $1,500 added to the window sticker of his '89 951

Just another update. Its now December 11, nearly two full months from the last update and Jane Doe, nor anyone else at PCNA has called me back or sent me my correct COA.

Folks, Ive been a patient man but now its time to rumble, so get ready for the ****storm to blow in. I'm going all the way to the top on this one. It should not take half a god damn year to send me an accurate COA. Its not like Im driving the ****ing James Dean Spyder.

Another update. Called back to PCNA. Funny how the person in question said, "gee we were just looking at that today." RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT.

Lets see if I get a call back in a couple days. They ought to be handing me free gift certificates to my local Porsche dealership boutique shop for all of this crap.
