944 NA 4 piston brake upgrade kit??? $650!!!!
944 NA big brake kits, 3 day sale. $650
A couple of announcements while we are here.
First and foremost we now have a 4 piston big brake upgrade kit for the 944 NA. The new kit replaces the tiny stock front calipers with a set of much bigger 4 piston ones. The kit just bolts on and makes use of the stock rotor size. The best part is that you can still use your stock 15" wheels if you like. There are no fitment issues with the stock wheel size when upgrading. I could go on and on about them but just click the link above and check out the sale page. They will be on sale for $650 until Monday sometime. Regular price of $750 for the set. Any questions about them just ask here or email me. travis@rennbay.com
Next order of business. I have, at long last, launched the new website. There is a photo gallery that you can upload pictures to and a shop submit / search form as well. All the old products are still there, just in a little bit different format. Drop by ( www.rennbay.com ) and let me know what you think. If you see anything out of place or any poor grammar / punctuation, just let me know.

Holy crap Travis! Thats incredible! I have a feeling you are going to have some GREAT business with those. Your site looks great too, I see you've updated the look. If I only still had my 944.... Hell I'd buy them just to not have to fight the 20 year old piston to change the damn pads out!!!

Youre going to tell me next you have a way to use the 6 pot Wilwood (or even better the 8s) on the Turbos, right? And it is going to be cost effective.

Travis, I did spot a little error on the big brake page. I'll bold it for you
"Materials / Construction
Each caliper has 4 rebuildable 41mm coated aluminum pistons with protective dust boots. The calipers are built by means of an aluminum stress-flow forging process then are CNC milled and finished with a hard anodized coating. They use an internal fluid passage which eliminates the need for external jumper lines from one side to the other. Caliper bodies are easily distasymbled for cleaning or rebuilding."

Fixed the spelling error. there are a few more strategically placed so if you find them you get a cookie.
The reason for the 4 piston is to retain the stock rotor and wheel size. They are just as big as the turbo calipers but they bolt on without additional parts changes. Plus if you use the A class pads, you don't need much more stopping power for competition driving.

****! I'm tempted.... My 944 needs brakes to match the motor. Those are great prices for new calipers!
Now, if you keep stock rear brakes, is that going to cause any problems?

I was kind of wondering that too. I believe the front & rear bolt points are the same on the n/a cars and assuming they have the same diameter internals you could probably buy a set for the rear too and not have to screw with the bias.
Or you could take the attitude of "rear brakes? Who needs 'em?"

I am running the 86na like that right now and it seems pretty even. If you felt like adjusting a little you can always go with a new bias valve.

Awesome job Travis. It's about time someone make a kit for the 944 with the Wilwoods.
Matt, as for the 6 and 8 pot, don't get too excited. You can't just add pistons to the caliper. Too many pistons, or choose the wrong piston size and your braking system can get all screwed up. To use 6 pot, you'd have to use much smaller pistons or you brake bias could get very dangerous.
