Made the bases as inserts so that I can adjust height...
Car now mounted on cart!!!
I still have to do the base that bolts to the side and to the base to make it safe to transport... rear just sits on base plate...
Front is bolted

I hate it when this happens... as soon as I remember where I put the clips for the inner rubber pieces...I will finish the seat! I remember collecting them all and putting them in a safe place so that I would not lose them..just can't remember where that safe place was... duh!

Well... could not find the clips... so I made my own to be able to finish the driver seat
First try on covering with the laundry plastic bag... worked on the second try...
Done!
Now with the driver seat on the correct side...
Daughter came in and just had to test the seat... Daughter approved!

Remove carburetors to follow the adjustment steps and then install them back on the engine.
Finish the wiring for the dashboard.
Finish the exhaust (need to clean and paint the front section of the header/heater boxes) and install it.
Install the plug wires
Set ignition timing (that is going to be fun...)
Fill with oil to the correct level
I think that is it... should be able to start it right after that is done...
Added two additional bolts on each end to the cart to make it more sturdy...

Well... not much of an update, but got a call from Alejandro that I can go this weekend and pick up the '81 he was working on (metal work and painting)...
That means that I can take the 912 to get the metal work done. He will install the rear window corner, repair the rest of the window area, install the rear shelf and weld the hinges mounts, repair the rear seat buckets, replace the passenger side sill with the new part I bought, and fix any dents in the car.
Now back to my cave...

On related news. Found some cheap labor to help with removing most of the trim to take the car today to Alejandro.
