1/4 model Flat 6
I had such a good time building this small model, timing the engine, seeing the distributor do its job, and seeing the overall beautiful (to me) small object that I thought that some of you might enjoy doing one too...

First time that I physically did a valve timing job and I learned so much... was also super interesting to understand the design of the distributor. I really had a fun time

Scale is 1/4 (maybe 1ft by 1.5ft) and it runs with a little electric motor that turns it and lights up the distributor controller diodes to simulate plugs being activated

Ordered the same model from Amazon and took me about four hours to assemble and build to completion. Pretty cool model to have and place in the office or home as a novelty item and talking piece.

Thanks for posting the picture, can it be dis-assembled? I want my son to re-assemble it back when he is old enough to get him interested in mechanical engineering.
