$2 at your local junkyard (bring some scissors to cut the belt).

Three Wheelin'
If its for seatbelt warning just get it turned off by dealer...
Not sure but i think airbags won't go off without seatbelt in which is probably a good thing with harnesses.

So there are more issues I had forgoten.....
I do want the clips to put out the light only when using the harness.
Are you guys saying if the seatbelt is not clipped in you cannot get an airbag? I would think even if wearing a harness I would want the airbags for a heavy impact. Why not?
Not clear on the pro's and con's here but what I want is the light out when wearing a harness and unless educated differently, I do want the airbags activated.

I removed air bag via 996 cup wheel and my dealer took care of the setbelt and air bag light at the same time... sorry I cannot be more helpful there...
Air bag on the track -- harnessed/hans"ed" in properly what good is an airbag going to do on the track?
Also, if you do not shuffle steer and cross your arms when turning, there is an argument that the air bag could mess you up if it exploded while your arms are crossed up...
Not to mention that the stock steering wheel "mutes" feel IMHO
This car feels even more "alive" with a more race oriented wheel of your choosing.
The other advantage to a quick detach race style wheel, is that in the event of a severe mishap, resuce can more easily extract you from the car with a QD steering wheel when/if your door is pinned shut.
However, as we all know, airbags are useful on the street so I presume you still want air bag functionality for street driving.

BMW, VW, Mercedes, Audi and probably other import belt buckles should also work. You can find them on ebay for around $20-25.

LA Porsche Dismantler sells them for $25 IIRC.
Alternatively you can use this highly advanced Universal Dashboard Warning Light Repair Kit:

Another alternative for free. Simply pass the belt behind the seat, connect to the inboard receptacle and you're done. A little bit of a pain, but works fine. No parts needed, no trip to junkyard, all other components remain fully functional.
