Picking Up a 911 GT3 RS Is Even Sweeter at the Factory

When a car is as special as a Paint To Sample (PTS) Porsche 911 GT3 RS, it takes some time. Well, a lot of time, actually. Rennlist forum member JCBH originally put his name down to reserve a spot to order “a few years ago,” though he officially ordered his RS early last year. And yet, he still doesn’t have the car in his possession, however, he has seen it.

JCBH took the honorable route for his new baby and flew all the way out to the factory to make sure it was up to spec. He even got to help put a few finishing features on it. Once introduced, the Porsche people let him help install the custom illuminated sills and check out the steering wheel before it was added.

JCBH posted that he was extremely impressed with everybody who is a part of the Porsche Exclusive team during his two-day factory visit, and was thrilled with the final product, which is finished in a beautiful Viper Green.

The car’s final resting place will be in California, so he is having it air freighted to his home. Check out the photos he posted and see for yourself.
