Also note that the ref signal still starts on the upslope, as the DME requires, even with the motor spinning backwards. The only way for it to start on the downslope is to reverse the two sensor signals when installing the pins in the connectors.

Very hard to know if you patched all bad traces and what parts may not have survived...

What else melted? Did it cool poorly and create bad joints?

If the jumper idea isn't clear, here's a picture I borrowed from a Pelican thread to give you the basic idea...

To make the 20 degree angle, you have to cut both pipes at 10 degrees and combine them for the full 20. If you cut one straight and the other at 20 degrees, you'll end up trying to weld an oval to a circle...

More complicated s-shape. Harder to make, but is it needed?

Very good numbers, but would have been even better had the cat not sat for an hour while we sorted out the catalytic converter "issue" (or lack thereof).

Gratuitous shot of garage in progress -- slab poured today. :) Four squares show where HD-7W posts would go.

The mouth of the intake will need to be port matched, both for flow but also so the throttle plate doesn't touch it when it opens. It just skims the intake without a gasket, so that's probably a non-issue with gasket installed.

TPS shaft is virtually the same as stock. The mounting ears on the TPS stick out beyond the mounting holes on the TB, so will need to make a little plate to bolt it to.

Throttle cam uses same system as factory throttle cable, thought it may 10mm further out (toward the fender) compared to stock.

Bolts right up, with tps and throttle cam in the right places.
