Still clean but we will see for how long. I spilled some ATF when filling the power steering which has to burn off but looks a lot better than it did a few weeks ago. LOL

Not quite finished here but should keep things safe.

Front rotors are considerably lighter than the equivalent Girodisc

Rears are getting installed and fronts should be done by the end of the day.

This stub is a 90 so I had to drill out the cross holes for the adapter to work.

A smaller swept area but thicker endurance pads and significant weight savings not to mention I can run 18" wheels.

The hose clamp was tight enough but I know when I was lifting it snagged on something apparently it was this hose. What a PITA to fix but the car runs great so far and is ready for NJMP this weekend. Just need tires mounted today.

Axles, starter, and shift linkage installed. Now just the exhaust and all the wires, hoses and bits up top.

ready to go into the car. It is amazingly stable and shouldn't take long.

The old fork is NLA. Upgraded to the 997 fork. Looks identical but has slightly larger pads to engage the LWF. Not a fan of the nylon vs older metal bushings. All new seals and bearings installed. It still cracks me up that there is no special tool other than tape to hold the shift fork in palce when matting the trans.

I made a cradle out of some old hardwood I removed from my house when doing an addition. 1948 lumber is amazingly sturdy and strong compared to the garbage sold today.

Once on the lift the question was how to safely support it.

Trans had been resting on the lift table so I made some support to mate it to the trans without breaking my back.

The lift table can't get under the stand so I have to use the lift to remove the stand and yoke.

Considering the neglect I guess I got lucky on this one. My pristine C2 that is garage kept had a slightly smaller rust area.

Defiantly not a show car although after scrubbing the dirt off I was able to read the spring rates. I honestly thought it was stiffer but fronts are 600 rears are 750.

Despite teh obvious damage the car is pretty clean and looks much better with the e88's. I have a vintage set of CCW's that came on the car in 17" sizes I plan to put H R7's on. For now the old cup 2's will do to run in the engine the first day. I don't think I can get it on the dyno before then.

There is a small grove at the end of the plunger that you can wrap a wire around and keep the unit from popping apart under pressure. The fluid was pretty dark.
