Question torque specs on boxster

I recently took the wheels of my '98 boxster, and when i put them back on, the owner's manual recommended 130Nm. Is that not WAY too tight? I set the torque wrench to 100Nm, and left it at that for now. can anyone with a boxster tell me what torque specs they use? thanks in advance!

Sounds about right to me. 130 Nm is about 94 ft/lbs. That's what I set my lug nuts to.

Make sure you get a good quality torque wrench. I like the split beam ones. Don't get a Sears crapsman one.

Not that 2 ft/lb matters, but 130 Nm equals 96 ft/lb.

Guarenteed to be crappy for life. I have one of those wrenches, well, it's my 2nd one. The first one broke in about 6 months.

The 2nd one ( the current one ) is pretty inaccurate on the torque settings. I'm saving all my pennies to get a Snap-On split beam one.
