Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's.... Question regarding age.
I found a pair of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's that have never been mounted for a bargain. The issue is that they had a production year of 2014. Am I a fool for mounting these on my car? I was always told that tires are like bread. They can go stale. Thoughts?

2-3 years old is a non issue if they were properly stored. Main concerns are UV light and extended freezing temps during that storage cycle.
What week in 2014?

I assume you have Cup 2's up front? Don't mix and match tires. The non N rated is no big deal.

Of course... No. My PSC2 fronts got shredded because of an alignment issue. It appears that there is or was a toe issue.
I have GT3 Control arms, so I a, setting it with the most camber as possible.

One thing to consider is how long do you expect them to last? If you drive low miles and might get many years on them then consider if they may age out while they are on the car. Memory is 6-10 years for tires mounted on a car with conservative being appropriate on performance car.

I put new MPSC2 N0's on the car - I've learned my lesson, I wont let my car
ride on 3-4+ year old tires again.
Its just not worth it IMO.
