Default 18's on a 993 Targa?

It's been posted that putting 18's on a Targa will increase "body flex/squeaks". Has anyone had this experience?

I would think if a cab can run with 18's, a targa should not have an issue either with body flex/squeaks. Just my opinion.

Although, I wouldn't want to add any flexing to any of my cars, Targa, Cabriolet or otherwise, you can do it. The main reason why Porsche did not offer 18" wheels is because they didn't want to hear customer complaints about added noises from an already noisy roof.
