Default would Porsche have done this?

All,
Picked up a set of wheels off eBay that were described as taken off a Cayenne for a show in Vegas, and they were Porsche OEM. It was stated they were ordered by Porsche for show purposes. Upon receipt there is NOTHING that says they are OEM. Box has a label that's either Chinese/Japanese. QUESTIONS: Would Porsche have ordered something like this for show purposes? Finally, are they road worthy??

Sounds like you were lied to. I don't see Porsche outsourcing custom rims for a showcar from a Chinese manufacturer. Plus some random entity then selling said rims on eBay.

I couldn't say if they are safe or not.

Get a part number off of a wheel and call a Porsche parts counter to see if they can match it.
