Question tyre advise

I have bought a 1997 993 4S and I need to buy 4 tyres.

I´ve had a lot of tyre "company sales" advise but I think that they never drove any car like mine.

I do track days and the usual day drive.

Please what do you prefer? and what do you use in your 993?

I've had 4 sets of Pirelli PZero Asimmetrico's on my '96 4S and have been very pleased with them. They are excellent in the dry and good in the wet. There are some other good tires which might perform better in one area or another but none that have the overall roundness of these.

You may want to look at the current Porsche approved tires as a base to work from. The list is periodically published in Christophorus...the 2003 list can be seen here. (page 3)
