Default Shipping wheels

I have just sold some 996tt wheels to someone in NC (I am in SoCal). What is the best way to ship wheels/tires? TIA.

I have always used UPS Ground. It takes about 5-7 days and is the cheapest way to go. You need to check with your nearest UPS shipper to see what they might charge to pack and ship versus you're doing it. if you pack it, you have to sign off on the shipping document to that effect. If there are damaged goods, you might not get full coverage if there is a claim. The mode is also dependent on how fast the buyer wants them and what he is willing to pay for overnight or second day receipt. Go ask them (UPS) and be informed of the process. LOL.

Cover the faces of the wheels (both sides) with bubble wrap and cardboard (bubble wrap, then Cb, then more bubble wrap and more cb to attach the labels to).

I sent wheels to Miami from England like this using UPS and they were fine...

Actually, depending on what size they are, UPS has oversize boxes that you can buy. I could fit two 17's tires in each box. Cost a TON to ship because they will tack on all kinds of crap.
