Default Kumhos/Falkens

I'm thinking of fitting one of the abpve to my shark.
Anyone got an opinion on either brand? Good bad or otherwise...

Thanks

People in the 911 arena seem to like the Kumho 712's as a price performer for street usage.

I'm running the Kumho MX for AutoX and DE and impressed with their performance. I have previously run RE730 and SO2s. I have not run the Falkens.

I'm running Kumho Ecsta V700's and find they are very good for autocross and **** poor for track days. They grip well initially but overheat very quickly and blister when used on the track.

I've heard this isn't such a problem if you buy them shaved. They are very inexpensive relative to other DOT-R tires so that's a plus.

Autocross - Yes
Track Use - NO (buy the Michelin Pilot Cup Sports)
