Default winter tires+rim recommendation?

Hi all, I'd like to get a set of winter tires and rims to go with a new 2014 Cayman, and would very much appreciate some advice. I couldn't find recommendation for winter tire specs from the Porsche website, but the summer tires specs are:
front: 8J x 18 alloy wheels, 235/45 ZR 18 tires
rear: 9J x 18 alloy wheels, 265/45 ZR 18 tires

The local dealer is quoting me $3000-$4000 for a set, or $1500 for tires. They said TPMS alone costs $1000. If I buy the tires I'd need to find a garage to get it mounted on my own rims, since the dealer doesn't do tire mounting. At these prices would you go with the dealer or shop around? (This is in Vancouver, Canada) What particular winter tires and rims would you recommend? Would it be ok to get some used rims and mount new tires on them? Are separate TPMS sensors needed for any wheels I buy? I've read that some places sell the sensors for $200-400 without installation. Thanks in advance.
