Default Michelin Pilot Sport AS+: a scathing review

These tires have always been substandard, once I was crossing a small wood bridge in the rain and they kept spinning. I got out, removed all mud and dirt particles, same thing, couldn't get traction on fricken pieces of wood.

Even in dry weather they're no good, the slightest moisture and you're going to be hydroplaning.

The last straw was in Dec when the rain just starting coming down. My back end spun out, my 996 hit a guardrail and was totaled. This after a mere 4,200 miles of wear on them (tires purchased in March of that year).

I contacted Michelin, they said for any consideration they'd have to have the tires. What am I supposed to walk out of the car, somehow remove the tires from the vehicle and somehow transport them to a Michelin reseller, WTF ?!?

Steer clear of the Pilot Sport AS+, personally I'll never buy Michelin's again for any car.
