TireRack and OZ Racing are proud to introduce the Formula HLT for 2013
OZ racing is proud to announce the brand new Formula HLT for 2013. OZ's High Light Technology (HLT) process uses rollers to compress and elongate the material along the barrel of a low-pressure cast aluminum wheel to obtain the desired profile. This process, which is directly derived from O.Z.'s experience in F1, produces wheels that are extremely light and strong. The flow forming process and the HLT technologies combine to create mechanical characteristics similar to those of a forged wheel. This permits a dramatic reduction in wheel weight while enhancing structural rigidity vs. a standard cast wheel.
Exact fitments and pricing is upcoming, but we expect a wide range of 5-bolt sizes and applications similar to the very popular Ultraleggera and Alleggerita.

We are pleased to announce that the New OZ Formula HLT has now been released and is available on our site for pre-order. This new wheel is in the same family as the OZ Ultraleggera HLT and Alleggerita HLT and provides a unique look with its simulated Center Lock appearance. Like the Ultraleggera HLT and Alleggerita HLT it is made in Italy with OZ’s HLT (high light technology) processes. Because the wheel is flow-formed it will be available in a wide range of sizes and fitments. This wheel will primarily be featured with the center lock look cover plate covering the lugs, and a second cap that covers the hub but keeps the lugs exposed.
At his time available Porsche fitments will be:
19X8.5 5-130 ET53 OZ FORM HLT 459.00
19X11 5-130 ET50 519.00
19X11 5-130 ET65 519.00
19X11 5-130 ET40 519.00
19X12 5-130 ET51 545.00
19X12 5-130 ET68 545.00
Also available:
Staggered sizes for BMW
17x9 for Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S
Subaru
The wheels are on order now with ETA hopefully in the next 6-8 weeks. I will certainly post updates as I get them from OZ.

I don't have the weights yet as the Porsche wheels are still inbound. As far as I know they should be in the same range (light) as the Allegerita is. I'll post the weights up as soon as I know, PROMISE!
Black isn't planned at this time.

What is the right fitment for the rears on a 991? I think stock offset is 63. Do the 19x11 ET 50s work (ie 12MM more outside than stock)?

We list a 19 x 11 with a 65 ET for the car. No spacers needed for that. If the fitments are close to the 997 with regards to spacers, the 50ET offset will be aggressive, but should work. Unfortunately we are still a bit green on what fits this new car without issues. I have sold 15mm spacers for the OEM wheels and have not heard of fitment issues with them, so I suspect the 40ET wheel will be fine.

Damon,
The OZ site list the Formula HLT in the 18" option.
If you can get a set for the 996T in 8.5x18 and 11.5(12?)x18 I will order - don't mind paying a deposit and wait.
