Is it possible/plausible to widen a stock rim rather than buy a new or different style rim? I like the rim style that I have but they are narrower than my stock one's and I would like to widen them to the stock width up front and a little wider in the rear. My stock rims are 16x8 front and 16x9 rear. My current boxster rims are 17x7 and 17x8.5.
