7x16 Fuchs for my 74 911
I am getting conflicting information....
I have a 1974 911 with 15 inch cookie cutters. I want to get 16 inch Fuchs.
The people at Wheel Enhancements say I can ONLY put 6x16's all the way around, they say the 7x16 wont fit on the rear.
PP sells a Fuchs replica. They say their 7x16's will fit.
My local PCA Techmaster agree's with the guy from Wheel Enhancements.
Anybody here know??

I agree with Campbell. There are exceptions on every car. I ran 7X15 Cookie cutters on my 76 912E without having to roll the lip, but that was after having the suspension checked to see if they would fit. I ran 205X60X15 tires on the front and the rear. Clearance was tight on the rear, but even when autocross aggressively, they never rubbed and the lips were not rolled. Going to a 16 wheel may require larger tires such as 205X55X16's which, I think will require rolling the lips. You don't have a lot of options and have to be careful with offsets. I got with PCA friends on a Saturday and we swapped tires and wheels from several cars to see what would fit/not fit. Sure saved a lot of time and money. Beer does a lot or it used to. LOL

I ran 6" x 16" on my 1977 911S slightly lowered for 7 years with 205's on them, I could not fit anything larger on the rear or they would rub. 6x16's are a great size for the narrow bodied cars
