rear tire size on OEM 18" wheels for a 968
Gentlepeople,
I recently purchased a set of '94 3pc Porsche OEM C2 turbo wheels ("Speedline for Porsche" as the script says) - same wheels as on the Turbo S.
Fronts 8" - I will mount 235/40 as specified for the Turbo S
Rears 10" offset 61mm - 265/35 are specified however, I've seen this size tire mounted on 10" rims and they look excessively stretched. Has any on tried 275/35? Were the fender lips rolled?
The car will not be tracked but will be lowered 1".
Your advice would be appreciated!..Thanks..Petko

You are probably better off using 225/40 and 285/30 if you want to maintain the same diameter front and rear. However, I'd stick with the 265/35 on the 968 for a better balance.
