Post 81 SC rear wheels on the front?

Can I use the 7"x16" SC rear wheels on the front end of the same car, will the offset still work? As I would like to use 8"x16" in the back
thanks
Mark

Yes, the rear 911 Fuchs is +23.3 mm os and fits fine on the front(as does the +23.3mm 8x16 944 Fuchs). The rears should be either +10.6 mm 8x16 or +15 mm 9x16.

As Bill said, the 7's will work fine on the front. I've run both 911 8x16's and 944 8x16's on the rear, and they both worked fine on my 81SC.

Only bit of advice I would add is to keep the tyre width to a maximum of 205 on the front for a 911 without power steering.

If you start creeping up to 215's you lose the lovely steering feel these cars have.

My previous carerra 3.0 ran 16" 6" and 8" Fuchs which looked great with the deep dish on the rear but retained 205/55 tyres on the front which made the car feel just right.
