930 tires/wheels size...?
What is the widest tire/wheel size in 17" hat you can put on a 930 without rubbing or rolling the fenders? I have seen 315's but I was wondering if the fenders had been rolled or somethign of hat nature...?

if you want to run a 315 in the rear it narrows the choices significantly. of the manufactures that offer the size: bfg, pirrelli, are a more performance oriented tire at the expense of ride quality, while michellin has a better ride quality at the expence of performance. if you want to use a race type tire on the street you have kumho v700 or yoko ao32rs to choose from (hoosiers are the least streetable of the dot race type tires)

what would be a good combo for the street if I wanted it to be wide but also safe and fair ride quality? I am think 255/315? Would I have to roll the fenders for tires that size? What size wheels? 9.5" and 11"?
thanks

315 sounds massive! A tyre/wheel dealer in the UK told me that for 18s, 265/35s are best for a 930. He also said that whilst 285/30s might look great, they greatly reduce the speed of the car due to drag...any truth to this? Anyone had any experiences?
